We had an outstanding 4th of July Celebration at the Colebrook Congregational Church! We hope you joined us, and if not, we hope you mark us in your calendar for next year! The event started with a medley of songs from our Armed Services, with members of each service standing to a round of applause for their service.
The Medley was followed by some timeless songs that attendees sang along with. Todd Hiller regailed the crowd with several entertaining stories from Colebrook’s past, all surrounding celebrations and shenanigans around the 4th of July in town.
Finally, the event wrapped up with a video produced by Colebrook resident and filmmaker John Parenteau. The video, titled “Coming to Colebrook”, interviews three veterans and long time residents of the town, who shared their experiences both in the military as well as living in Colebrook.
After the program, attendees gathered for a tasty ice cream social in front of the Historical Society.
