Our History

The Colebrook Associates, Inc. is a non-profit organization which was formed over 75 years ago with the purpose of providing support to Colebrook residents and organizations, especially in times of need. Membership is open to all residents of Colebrook with currently 200 families and individuals as members. Over the years, Colebrook Associates, Inc. has provided assistance to Colebrook families, individuals and organizations including the awarding of scholarships to Colebrook residents.

Our Mission

To promote and support, directly and indirectly, those things that enhance the quality of life for the residents of Colebrook including but not limited to financial assistance and educational scholarships.

Our Goals

Colebrook Associates strives to fulfill its mission by:

• Educating donors and the public about the organization’s benefits to the community
• Connecting with people who have the desire and resources to make financial contributions to the organization
• Collaborating with other charitable organizations
• Serving as a catalyst for selected community initiatives
• Making grants to projects and causes that address the community’s needs
• Providing financial educational assistance to qualified applicants
• Providing assistance to those in critical need
• Gathering, preserving and stewarding resources
